Casey Jacobs - Chair
5 year on the board, 2 years as ED
Raised in Huntsville, Casey has recently retired back to Muskoka after a long career working with various children’s services in York Region. Previously employed as a Program and Policy Analyst by the Ministry of Education - Early Years Division, and as a Director of Operations for a large non-profit child care operator, Casey is a passionate advocate for children, and is looking forward to making a positive contribution to Muskoka families through working with the CFM. Casey enjoys swimming, cooking, reading and skiing, and is a proud mom of two adult children.
Mark Janke- Vice Chair
7 years as a board member
Mark was born in Huntsville and now lives in Bracebridge with his wife and two kids. He has been an educator at TLDSB for the past 17 years. He enjoys time listening to music, cheering on the Raptors, making maple syrup and doing all things tech for the CFM.
Tina Rizzuto-Willan - Secretary
Cheryl has been a resident of Muskoka for 31 years. She is a former teacher of the Deaf, and is presently a public speaker and the author of three works of historical fiction, set on the high seas during the War of 1812. She and her husband, Randy, have two sons, Evan and Brodie.
Dan Gardiner - Treasure
Dan first came to Muskoka for 1 year, back in 1998. Having sat on the board of various local endeavours, kids’ sports organizations and service clubs, Dan has a long history of community involvement. Dan joined the Muskoka Children’s Foundation to help ensure all kids in Muskoka have opportunities for success and enjoyment. Dan lives in Huntsville with his wife Stacy, their children Makaila, Ben & Ashley, pets and an ever increasing amount of local wildlife looking for handouts.

Julie Medley
Julie was born and raised in Bracebridge now living in Gravenhurst at the Muskoka Bay Resort where she has learned to play and now hooked on the wonderful game of golf.
Professional Organizer who’s been helping Muskoka residents dig through their belongings and getting them back on track. Experience working with Alzheimer’s Disease and Other Dementias, Compulsive Hoarding in Older Adults, Mental Health and Aging Issues.
When not working she loves to travel and dabbles in photography. Especially loves to take pictures of her new puppy Mulligan.
Derek Schofield
Derek was born and raised in Gravenhurst and is currently a Special Education Resource Teacher at K.P. Manson Public School in Severn Bridge. He owns and operates Muskoka Summer Hockey School and enjoys music, sports and the outdoors.
Jen Smith

Jen lives in Huntsville and works at Bracebridge and Muskoka Lakes Secondary School. She enjoys spending time outside with her husband and her three-and-a-half year old daughter.

Dave Lyons - Executive Director
Dave has been a resident of Huntsville for over 20 years and has been a lifelong lover of all things Muskoka since arriving here in 1970 to attend summer camp.
Dave's involvement with the CFM began in 2013. He's been a board member, vice-president and president and has been the Executive Director for more than 3 years now.
As a lifelong educator, camp leader, and more recently, Healthy Active Living Consultant for Trillium Lakelands DSB, Dave is big advocate for ensuring all kids have the opportunity to be active, involved and outside as much as possible because that's what keeps kids happy and healthy!
Darlene Morin - Administrative Assistant
15 years as staff of CFM
Darlene was an Educational Assistant with the S.M.C.D.S.B. and is a resident of Port Sydney.
She was a past co-owner in a restoration business, loves home crafts and helping others. The Board is appreciative of the great work she has done over the past nine years in keeping the office running...and in particular her amazing butter tarts!
