On Friday, July 31st, Huntsville lost one of its leading citizens. Steve was a builder in the truest sense of the word – of the expansion of Gryffin Lodge, of Mary Lake Highlands, of Gryffin Bluffs, of beautiful energy efficient homes, of the Hunters Bay Trail, of a beautiful family, of a vast community of friends from all walks of life, and of our community as a whole.
To honour his memory, The Steve Alcock Legacy Fund has been established to support economically disadvantaged youth in Muskoka to pursue post-secondary training and education in the trades.
